Jorge Luis Borges Has a Posse

In an attempt to recruit new, younger members to the Jorge Luis Borges Ultra-Secret Society, we have been advised to engage in a "viral" campaign to come across as "hip." After consulting with a number of marketing agencies, we have decided to give our weblog readers a sneak peak of our "Jorge Luis Borges Has a Posse" campaign, modeled after Shepard Fairey's "Andre the Giant has a posse" campaign.

Jorge Luis Borges: Man, myth, legend, revolutionary.

On top of his busy writing and lecturing schedule,
Borges also led coups for the rights of indigenous South Americans.

"Directed by an obscure man of genius," one of The Jorge Luis Borges Ultra-Secret Society's (Psi Chapter, California, United States of America) tasks is to rectify the image of Jorge Luis Borges, which he cunningly hid in his public life. Not only do we guard the primary-source evidence of Borges's other life, which included his work as a speech writer and special attaché to Che Guevara, but we are the keepers of many more secrets detailed in his unpublished writings, and we practice the rituals delineated within.
